Our History

The Pediatric Hospital Foundation was created in 2014 and was born out of the need to support the Dr. Antonio Ortiz University Pediatric Hospital at the Medical Center, the most important medical institution for children and youth in Puerto Rico. Thanks to the vision and energy of several doctors, along with a group of committed volunteers, the Foundation has become an integral part of the Hospital community.

The Pediatric Hospital Foundation raises funds that are directed toward improving the Hospital's physical facilities, especially in patient care and parent rest areas. It also donates equipment for patient monitoring and treatment, and participates in any other initiative that results in better service to the Hospital's children.

Currently, the Pediatric Hospital Foundation has the support of corporations, private foundations and citizens who feel the commitment to help improve the health of our children.

All help is welcome
