2 CMAC equipment, valued at $45,343.78, for the Emergency and Surgical Units that facilitate the intubation process with internal cameras.
A cooling blanket valued at $26,014 for the Intensive Neonatal Unit that will reduce neonatal trauma by providing exclusive treatments to babies that experience trauma during birth.
Orthopedic drill valued at $20,923.20 for the Pediatric Orthopedic Department.
$400K Renovation for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit South Wing
The Pediatric Hospital was not exempt from the destruction caused by Hurricane Maria in 2017. Thanks to major donations and volunteers that helped through the crisis, the Foundation re-established the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The project consisted of renovating the roof, exterior, and interior problems in Tour 1.
